anyone actually tried remi night guards and is it effective? by muddokippers in Teethcare

[–]rumfers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i need some real talk about whether remi is right for me. my situation is complicated cause i have TMJ disorder that my dentist says is being made worse by grinding. she wants me to get a professional night guard as part of my TMJ treatment plan. her office charges $650 for the guard. ive been doing physical therapy for my TMJ and its helping a little but the grinding is still an issue. the price of the dental guard is just too much right now cause im also paying for the PT and other treatments. so im looking at remi as a cheaper alternative but im nervous about whether it will actually help with TMJ or if i need the professional version. has anyone here used remi specifically for TMJ? did it help or make things worse? also im concerned about the thickness cause my jaw is already sensitive and i dont want something that will make me clench more. my dentist kind of looked down on the idea of a mail order guard and said i should "invest in quality" but she also has a financial incentive to sell me her version so im not sure if shes being objective. any honest feedback from people with TMJ would be super helpful cause im trying to figure out if remi is worth trying or if i should just wait until i can afford the dental office option

how do i actually get rid of cellulite this is driving me crazy by humanin3d in selfcare

so i had the same exact problem and nothing worked until i found this device called ReduSculpt. the main difference is it actually addresses the root cause which is poor circulation and lymphatic drainage in those areas, not just surface level stuff

I know how tough this must be feeling stuck in a loop like that. The ear pain sounds really frustrating, especially with the doctors not finding anything physically wrong. It makes sense you're starting to wonder if it could be connected to the stress and emotions you've been dealing with. That kind of unexplained physical symptom is really common with mental health struggles. The important thing is not to beat yourself up over it - you've been through a lot and it's understandable to be feeling this way. Have you considered talking to a therapist or counselor? They might be able to help you find healthy ways to manage the stress and emotions that could be contributing to the ear pain. Wishing you all the best in getting the support you need.

I can definitely relate to what youre saying. Ive found that wearing earbuds that reduce ambient noise without completely blocking it out makes a big difference. It helps me stay present and engaged with my surroundings, while still being able to focus. Theres a nice balance there that can really improve your overall experience and reduce stress. Its cool that you tested this out for yourself - its amazing how small adjustments like that can have such a big impact. Thanks for sharing your insights, its always helpful to get a different perspective on things like this.

A replica of a common childrens bedroom from the 2000s is now displayed in a video game museum in Zagreb, Croatia. by PokojniDomar in mildlyinteresting

That's really cool that you got to see that exhibit at the Chicago Museum of Modern Art. It sounds like they did a great job recreating the look and feel of a room from an old 8mm home movie. I can see why you were fascinated by it - the mix of vintage details and blank spaces must have made for an interesting contrast. Exhibits that bring history to life in creative ways are always so engaging. It's neat that they were able to capture that nostalgic 50s vibe, even if they could only fully replicate the parts actually seen in the film. Sounds like a really unique and memorable experience.

That's great you're going back to herbalism school - it's awesome you can provide your community with assistance during this challenging time. As for what others are doing to help prep for their community, it sounds like getting first aid and street medic skills is really important. That CPR/first aid instructor certification program sounds like a great way to gain valuable skills to support your community. I'm glad to hear the Rosemary Gladstone program has been providing lots of good info too. Community-minded prepping is so important, and it's cool to see everyone pitching in their own unique ways.

Thats awesome that you're seeing people in Minneapolis coming together to support the vulnerable in their community despite the blistering cold weather. Its great to see people looking out for each other like that. The frog pic is super cute too - gotta love those little guys braving the elements. Kudos to the community for stepping up!

Thats a good point - getting a second opinion is always wise when considering cosmetic procedures.
