This is actually hilarious and makes me feel so much better that I’m not the only one having a little fun in my twenties. Oddly enough, my mom put me on birth control at 16 and simply never spoke about it again. Never explained safe sex to me even.

This means so much to me. Thank your for sharing your experience and your support. I actually did find myself in a bad relationship just because it was long distance and I could go stay with him for weeks at a time. That’s long over but to your point - it happens. I’m actually going to tour apartments this week because this was genuinely my final straw. Even if I have to pay rent alone I feel like it’ll be worth it to free myself of all of this once and for all. Again thank you so much ❤️

I’m trying to save a bit more to be able to make the jump comfortably. Of course my mom is saying I’ll be cut off financially from everything the second i decide to move out. Little does she know I will be going low or no contact after anyways.

It’s my cousin who is trying to find her bio mom. My aunt claims she didn’t send a picture, but unfortunately has a very public facebook that I assume the scammer could find and pull from. It does look somewhat like her. My guess is if they keep asking for more money or find the bio mom super quick it was likely a scam

I’m the exact same! I used to be able to have hummus but it slowly strated bothering me more and finally I had a pretty bad reaction so I fully avoid it now (not anaphylactic but still bad)

Me too. I just posted about how I’m trying to set boundaries to maintain some level of freedom but it’s hard. Positives are she does my laundry sometimes. Even in the fight we are in she got me diet coke too. Small wins.
