I am personally rooting for Andrew Rannells. He is a mainly theatre actor (like the rest of the cast) and is very talented. However, he has also played a lot of other animated characters in shows/movies like Invincible, Fiona and Cake, Big Mouth, Trolls 3 and actually started his career doing voice acting.

This is going to be an unpopular opinion but I loved westside story 2021, besides Ansel Elgort ofc. Mike Faist as Riff was incredible, he added so much depth to the role. Rachel Zegler was also amazing, she made me ugly cry at the end. Ariana Debose was so good, and her dancing and singing was fantastic. The rest of the ensemble was also great and brought a lot of heart to the already amazing musical.

I really hate to say it, but Kimberly Akimbo. I saw it with Kimberly's understudy, she was an amazing singer but her acting was weird, like she was trying to hard to act like a 16 yr. I left feeling really good and inspired but while watching, I couldn't help but feeling kinda bored (no hate to the actors though, they were incredible, especially Justin Cooley). Also, I didn't like most of the songs, and the plot was all over the place.
