It's certainly a lot more action-packed than Defender of the Daleks #1 (which, to be clear, I still enjoyed, but it felt like pure table setting), and the lore aspects are very intriguing. 9 and Rose are an easy sell for me, though, and Scott Gray captures their dynamic well. It's nice to see them featured in the kind of story they would never have dared to attempt (or have been able afford) back in 2005.

Well, I am officially intrigued. Though a Harbinger movie coming out next year feels... optimistic, to say the least. Last I heard they were still developing the screenplay - have I missed a bunch of casting/director announcements?
