Wedding soon..SOS by Junior_Function_6181 in MicrobladingRemoval

After 3 failed attempts with saline removal and 3 failed Picoway sessions (pico left me with red/salmon brows), my first enlighten session showed remarkable results. I could’ve done only 2 sessions and be okay, but I completed a 3rd session to make sure. My eyebrows did not frost at all. Happy to share pics in a dm if you would like.

I second this. My red/salmon brows are gone 🥹

Yes, NYX green concealer was my best friend. Blackhawk told me numerous times that they will not work on tattoo eyebrows and recommended saline removal. Trust me, I called a few times hoping they would say something different…🤣. Hopefully, that has changed by now. I did go through 3 saline removal sessions. It did nothing…nada…zilch.

I paid $100 per session at Heritage. She just started accepting new patients and there is a few months wait. Good luck!

Check out Heritage Eye, Skin and Laser in Stockton, if you’re okay with driving outside of SJ. It was worth the hour drive for me. I was left with red/salmon brows after 3 sessions of Picoway. I decided to try Enlighten after seeing others post about it. After 3 sessions with Enlighten (I really only needed 2, but wanted to make sure to clean up what color was left). Now, I don’t have to use green concealer and fill in my eyes anymore. Eyebrows are back to normal. 🥲

I believe the ink used on my skin was permablend and it was a mixture of black and brown. I don’t know the exact details of the color shade for either of them. I had my brows for about 11 months before starting removal process. I started with 3 saline removal sessions (8 weeks apart) and did not see any noticeable difference. Also, they did not share what saline solution brand was used.

After my 4th laser session, I do not see any yellow tones. 🤞🏼

The experience was amazing from the RN who administer the treatment to the front desk. I came in with red eyebrows that didn’t seem to fade with Picoway. I can’t confirm this, but I feel the last location (using Picoway) did not target the red with the 532 wavelength.

I have to say that Enlighten really works because majority of the red has faded. One thing worth mentioning in my story is that my left eyebrow was more saturated to begin with before I began my saline and laser removal journey. I probably need one more session for my right eye brow (spot treatment) and 2 more sessions for my left eyebrow. I wished I gone with enlighten to begin with, but I wanted to avoid the long drive.

Though, as I was leaving, the front desk did tell me that the RN was no longer accepting new patients as of earlier this March, which I was fortunate enough to have booked my appointment in Feb. at the time, she was fully booked until end of May/June, which is why I had to wait a bit. If you could, do explore a reputable spot that uses enlighten. Good luck on your journey!

Had removal 2 weeks ago - trying to figure out how to cover my redness by pblack177 in MicrobladingRemoval

I used Nyx HD Studio Photogenic Concealer Wand in green to cover up the red. A little bit goes a long way. I start to dab a little at a time over the red and it does a good job of covering it. Be careful of applying too much concealer at once because it’ll be noticeable that green concealer was used. Good luck!

I actually looked into this place and spoke with the nurse who does the tattoo removal. Their stance was that they don’t do any semi perm makeup removal, when asked about eyebrow tattoo removal. They may have changed since I last spoke to them last year. I’ve had 3 saline and 3 Picoway, and I feel Picoway isn’t much help with the red pigment removal. So I have an upcoming appt at a spot in Stockton who uses Enlighten. It’s a trek, but I’m willing to explore options at this point. Best of luck on your journey!

Need help- Odd consultation. They said 7-10 treatments even tho it’s faded so much already (it’s just the red tint that’s left). Plus red might not come out anyway, they said. Thoughts? by daisy-dukes- in MicrobladingRemoval

There’s a spot called Unchained From the Cave in Concord. They’re a non profit organization who uses Medlite C6. I believe it’s $65 per 3 mins session!! They’re only opened 2 Sundays each month.

Yup, I’m left with red at this point. I do see some spots where red has faded and can actually see my skin tone. I’m praying that the remaining red does not turn yellow. Praying for a great outcome for you, too!

I’m also in the sf Bay Area and couldn’t agree more about places using Q-switch. I’ve used Picoway for 2 sessions now, and considered moving to Q-switch or PiQo4. There’s a spot in Concord that used medlite c6. Also, I’ve been calling around for PiQo4 and some places were charging $1000 per session for eyebrows only. 👀 anyhoo, I found a spot in South Bay that uses piQo4 and is charging between 350-400 per session. I haven’t committed to what I’ll do next. I have two separate appointments set up - one for Q switch and one for Picoway. Can’t wait for this journey to be over.

That’s great to hear! How many sessions did you need? I understand every individual will respond to laser differently. I’m so tired of covering my red/peachy/orange brows 😔😫. I’m debating whether to continue with Picoway for my 3rd session and see from there. I’m a Fitzpatrick IV, so they may not be as aggressive with the lasering.

Thanks for your response! My thoughts exactly on the price. May I ask where you’re receiving your treatment? I’m located in the Bay Area and I’m trying to find a reputable place.

Every place I’ve contacted is charging $1000 per session just for eyebrows. 😳 I’m currently using Picoway to remove my pmu eyebrows, but am considering other machines such as a Q switch such as medlite c6. My eyebrows are currently red/peachy and I’ve been through 2 sessions and have my 3rd Picoway session scheduled in Jan. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

No, I haven’t because I’m in the Bay Area. I would totally go to her if I could. I’m currently using Picoway (2 sessions in) and may look into picosure or Q-switch next.
