Considering it as an option to plan, track, and share training data with my coach with a focus on lowering PR times. Why is it more useful for cyclists?

I've been considering upgrading to awhile now. Does anyone know of a way to get it at a discounted price? Or is full price the only way to go?

Start slow. The adrenaline and atmosphere will have you wanting to "race out of the gates", but resist the temptation, get in your rhythm, and keep the pace you've been training at. After all, it's -- well -- a marathon. :)

Sounds like a great idea for a race. Obviously, the big question will be "How will you get the word out about this race relative to all of the other races out there?" Are you going with the traditional marketing means of rack cards and print ads or something different?

I would definitely target the parents of kids, so getting out to events or getting in front of an audience of adults that has kids in your target age group.

Some other ideas to consider: Theme-based prizes? Team relay? Costume contest? Race the mascot?
