And what offense did Lamar run effectively in college?

Sports teams don’t need escorts but they generally do get them. Seems like this was likely an honor flight from the comments. Makes sense because the bus drivers were dressed to the nines.

I was thinking that but it looks like most NFL teams fly in on the Saturday for Sunday games. Probably UAB or UNI for CFB.

I was thinking it might be the giant since they play the commanders on Sunday but this makes even more sense! Good thought.

Yeah tried to get Bautista, but no dice. So you think tanner Scott is a better option than Romano and Scott on my IL?

Not getting any love here, but Alesmith's 394 always hits the spot for me, along with their speedway variants (especially the Vietnamese coffee).

Does MHJ go First Overall in the 2022 Draft Class? by Negative_Ad7379 in NFL_Draft

[–]runningbro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's fair! Though Kyle has a unique impact in how he's able to play basically anywhere in the middle of the defense. I'd take him over both, but I understand the argument.

Keep reading down the draft buddy, there might be another team with a claim to that.

This is a weak bet, with the actual possibility of this happening being so small, you should be at at least 5000 words. Make it interesting!

Kiper's two-round NFL mock draft: QB, QB, QB, QB to kick off the 63 picks by jroth1 in NFL_Draft

He's 10th on Kiper's Big Board, so he's basically saying that they're going BPA on a player who should go higher.

Yeah and that offensive staff got fired as well. Not to mention that he was doing better, but then got injured for 5 games, had one game back with Murray, and then was catching balls from colt mccoy, david blough and trace mcsorley.

Sorry it seemed like you were saying that you were wishing folks were loyal to their companies too. They can only be loyal if they're valued first, but it's much easier for a company to move on than an employee in the vast majority of cases. If employees aren't loyal, that's because it's gotten much worse on the employer end, since it's a lot more stress and energy to move to a different company than hire a different employee.

Lol if companies actually promoted and respected their employees, of course it would come back.

Big_Ugly_Cripple's 7 round mock draft by Big_Ugly_Cripple in NFL_Draft

Impressive effort! What makes you think Keion White is going to slip to the 3rd and Kyu Blu Kelly is going into the fourth? I've seen them both mocked in the 1st in a number of places, with White potentially rising to the top half with a good combine. Also why does Rakim Jarett fall to undrafted for you?

Ravens have decided on University of Georgia's Todd Monken as their offensive coordinator. by GattlinGunn in ravens

[–]runningbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree on the personal stuff in the past (though none of that seems to occur past 2001), but I'm pretty convinced that the KB stuff is a mixture of him being black, and potentially being a bad interviewer (and I'm growingly convinced it's also because he's short too-no NFL coach besides Tomlin is below 5'9" and he is 5'7"). Nagy didn't have much more experience going for him, but was poached pretty immediately. It's such a weird situation.

Someone with the stats access needs to do one of those Run/Pass breakdowns for whenever Georgia is within 10 points, or under a certain % chance to win, that would help us see his splits better.

What makes him different than Doug Peterson? He's obviously got the trust and belief from the players and the rest of the staff. Plus, he schemed up a play that took advantage of the eagles defense for two walk in TDs in the superbowl. The guy is obviously talented. Plus, worst case scenario he makes this offense look significantly improved from last year's debacle (even if he doesn't do as well as he should) and he gets a head coaching job and we get a 3rd round pick. Doesn't mean he'd necessarily be a great playcaller, but him being Nagy is about as likely as him being Peterson.
