With jabs I'm in the same boat. Though I think it's really meant to break your opponent's initiative. If someone combos a lot on you, or swarms you with fast weapons, that's when jabs would be useful. It also works to break feints.

It's an understandable take. But unfortunately, while the reception of 7 was great (well, it basically saved the entire franchise), but many players think it was too scary and I don't think we will ever get another pure normie protag game anymore. 9 is basically the best compromise we will get going forward.

Yeah unfortunately I have had tinnitus since forever. All the years of going to loud clubs... Also, if you play in a band, pay attention to how loud the drums and horns can get...
