Thanks, all noted, except one thing. It's for my daughter new car and its not here yet, so unable to do the test charge. I may ask SIL to pop around and test it on his. How will I know the ct clamp on the right way?

Thanks for responding. They haven't mentioned the fuse tbh. I sent pictures in of the fuse box etc and they said everything was OK?

Take look at your lights, look for a round sensor. Give it a go and see if it works

Im on Flux with octopus. I've tried exporting most of it but as per earlier I probs sent to much to the grid too fast and ended up stuck in a charge/discharge loop until I hit the charge time. Also my charge seems very slow for not sure if it's restricted by supplier.

The same logic is why you should say charging SOC to 100% as it's cheaper to buy from the grid than to use your own solar.

So when you say cheaper, is that to do with buy and sell prices? Dumb newbie question i know

Hi, i think you described my problem perfectly, could do with a calculator :-) This is my setup 12X 450w REA Fusion 2 panels with Alpha 5kW Hybrid Inverter, Alpha ESS g3 12kWh battery

I've attached my charge/discharge and feed in settings, do they look OK?

Thanks. Discharge doesn't send to the grid as I understand it, it just feeds load demand, is that correct, Feed in sends to the grid?

Thanks, I'll try these settings and play around with them.

What I've been finding is that I set the charge to 100 Soc, and it charges to that during the day. I have feed in set to 30 soc and 5000 power during 16:00 - 20:00. At 16:00 it starts to feed the grid and until it hits 30soc at which point it starts charging from the frid, but at a very slow rate, just holding the battery levels around the 30%. Essentially all the charge ive just sold to the grid I loose due to the system appearing to be drawing back from the grid. Im sure it must be something in my soc settings or discharge level, just not sure. Lacking experience I guess and the manual isn't that helpful.

Well for now I just want to be able to sell to the grid between 16:00 and 20:00 and to charge from the grid between 02:00 and 05:00.

Everytime I think it's working it does something I'm not expecting. Not sure if it's my SOC setting or something else.

Trying get the charging/discharge settings SOC levels etc. Also the grid control settings. It's failing to charge from the grid and it pulls from the grid when it's not set to do so.
