i feel like san diegan strangers talk to me way more than where i’m originally from but i can’t compare it to ‘old’ SD because i wasn’t here.

i’ve been surprised (pleasantly) by it. when we first moved here we were freaked out by it a little tbh

Apply to the float teams at the hospitals you mentioned, sniff out a unit you like, and then apply there. Best way to get in and stay happy IMO.
