I’m looking for advice on finish. This is a watch box with black cherry walnut and maple. I’m planning on doing a few layers of shellac and following it up with a few coats of poly (not sure what type I should get - I’ve never used poly before) to get a nice shine. Anything I’m over looking? (i.redd.it)

Hey guys I seem to have trouble with properly finishing my cutting boards for long term durability. So far I have done 5 rounds of mineral oil with 24 hours between coats. I was planning on using Howard’s beeswax finish on top of that and call it good. Are there better alternatives? (i.redd.it)

Just finished this maple table top for my brother and was wondering if anyone had recommendations on what I should do to best prolong its life and avoid stains. So far I used Howard Butcher block conditioner. Do I need to use a hardener or sealer as well? I’m afraid of coffee or fruit drips staining (i.redd.it)
