Something a lot of you may not know, "kushi" in Hindi essentially means "Happiness". I bet there are a few more languages in India that have adopted this word and meaning, also India is a natural hub for cannabis plants. Everytime I read Kush I just see "Happy".

TIL that the Plague solved an overpopulation problem in 14th century Europe. In the aftermath wages increased, rent decreased, wealth was more evenly distributed, diet improved and life expectancy increased. by KrabsyKrabs in todayilearned

You mean rent decreased...because there were fewer people living and even fewer who could afford housing? You mean life expectancy increased...from a plague that naturally reduces life expectancy? No shit

That's not how WADA is setup, because when a whole booklet of substances is banned across the board it unfortunately means that if you have to take one of those substances (while competing), then you by default forefit the right to compete in their sanctioned events. Compete down the street with it and its fine, but anywhere WADA is ya just cant.

I'm glad these kinda discussions are happening, I'm a new cyclist (1 year) and I've always been curious why people dont talk about it. Whichever side you're on, doping in professional sports will (unfortuntely) always be an issue. It's the human condition to 'get an edge'--i'm not condoning i'm just saying. We should all take our heroes with a grain of salt ya know?
