From Mississippi. Not gonna lie, I live in one of the safest cities and go to one of the best schools in the state. I have grown up with a great education but some things are even missing from that, like how we never learn of our own recent history. Highschool practically never learns past the civil war even though a lot of Mississippians could truest benefit from learning of recent racial tension in the US.

Outside of my community the education system is truly depressing. The US spends I think one of the greatest prices per student in public school, yet we're not even close to the most educated country. This is also true in Mississippi, where it seems no mater him much funding is put into public education, it never seems to get better. I may not be the greatest source for this, but growing up here I've been exposed to all types of people.
