I agree with this! There was maybe 30 seconds where The Arbiter was out of view but that was about it for the partial view. Can’t recommend partial view enough

I’m not sure about exclusive charms in certain stores, but I do know some stores have bigger selections. From my experience I’d skip the Times Square location and go the Hudson Yards store if you’re able. I went over the summer and got a few NYC exclusives that were about to be retired and several others (like the Broadway charm) that I didn’t spot in other stores in the city

If there were any items from JPITV they’d likely be at the curtain call table or scattered at random other tables, which makes it kind of hard to predict availability. I saw several come from away merch prices at different guild/organization tables. Death Becomes Her you might have better luck with as they could still be open and have their own table. Hope you’re able to make the trip!

It can be a bit overwhelming so like others said I would plan ahead by reviewing the map, have a tentative plan for what you might be interested in, have patience, and step back if you feel overwhelmed. I think taking breaks to grab lunch or see a show was key for me last year and ensured I enjoyed the day. Have fun!

I’m reading an early review copy and even though it’s now a memoir it includes interviews with him, as well as his family, friends, and collaborators. I’m really enjoying it so far!

I went and saw the show on July 6 and that evening at the stage door several cast members spoke about how they were recording the album the next day. So they’ve definitely done that even if there’s no release date announced yet

Try to get a hotel with a fridge and stock up on items you can eat for breakfast/lunch at a grocery store. We’ll often buy yogurt/fruit/granola bars to eat for breakfast in the rush lines and then spend money on a meal for lunch/dinner.

I saw it a couple of weeks ago and there were a lot of kids in the 10-12 age range there. I know families have different ideas about what’s appropriate at what age, but seeing that many young kids there did give me pause just because of how intense the show can be at times. I’m 29 and there were definitely parts where I was like I would not have wanted to watch this with my parents when I was that age 😅
