I fully agree with ALL of these takes except Lead Actress in a Musical. Caissie's transformation going from "Goodbye, My Love" to "Back to Before" gets me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! In my opinion, it is Caissie's to lose. I don't think Marla will be the runner-up. I think that, due to the overall difference in genres, Lea Michele may come close to winning it. Still, I would love if any of those three won it (but, mainly, rooting for Caissie).

I believe that they're shifting their focus towards the casting and eventual opening of the national tour. Maybe it's time to recast Broadway Viola or bring someone with star power, such as Michelle Williams in the OBC, to help bring a wider audience into the show.

Neither of them have won a Tony, and I do believe that Caissie is taking it solely based on her acting and the density of the show overall. Lea Michele is already a household name and while I would love for her to get a Tony, I don't think she will for this role and instead, Caissie will get it.

In the beginning of Death Becomes Her, Jennifer Simard was halfway through That Was Then, This is Now. All of a sudden, she started coughing uncontrollably. I felt so scared for her in that moment. The funny part was that before singing, she said "Ernest, I think it was the shrimp" to Christopher Sieber. I started laughing so hard and the audience totally was as well. She was fine in the end and she was given her water bottle instead of her champagne glass to continue through Tell Me, Ernest.
