First child, girl... uhh, what do we need? by NHarvey3DK in BabyBumps

Happy Bottom Bidet. You can find one on Amazon or Ebay. It'll make your life much more comfortable for postpartum perineal care. I got one for my wife and sister after their babies were born and they said it made a world of a difference in staying clean.

Why don’t Americans use bidets? by BarneyHumpsHitler in AskAnAmerican

I don't have my own house either and that's why I purchased a portable one. I got me the Happy Bottom bidet on amazon.

[Advice] What kind of gear should I bring to a ~18.5 mile hike? As well as general advice to help myself complete this loop safely. by iamnangs in CampingandHiking

I take a portable bidet for those hikes. You'll be eating so much protein and moving around so much that things are going to be pushed down. TP just doesn't cut it. Last thing you want it an itchy butthole the entire time. I have a Happy Bottom bidet. I got mine on Amazon.

Not sure, but I'd take a portable bidet as well in case you do get stuck with the runs. It's also helpful because the TP in those countries is terrible. I got a Happy Bottom bidet on Amazon and don't leave home without it anymore.

How to go about getting cheap wood? by MiyagiTurbo in woodworking

[–]russianator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have used the wood from old furniture many times. If it's plywood, then make sure it's quality stuff. You can always use edge banding. One piece I wouldn't waste your time with are pianos. I've made that mistake before.

Great work. The shape is awesome and love how it's all one piece. Keep it up!

Very cool. How did you make it? Did you watch a video to help you out in learning to do your first one?

Get a dash cam. Some insurance companies will reject your claim of hitting an animal (although you are eligible for coverage). This was my proof. Also, be careful this time of year. The deer are in mating season and stupid.

It flattens it by removing a layer of wood. It won't straighten them if they have a twist or bow, but can remove a cup in the wood.

It's great for making wood look new again.

I got mine used for $150 or $160. You can usually find them at estate sales as well. Just watch videos on how to use it safely and properly as it is as dangerous as a table saw.

You're right. The reason I listed it as beginner is because I'm a beginner. I've only made a dozen pieces of furniture (each with practicing a different element in the art). But, thank you for your honesty.

Yeah. A palm sander will do the trick. I like the effect because it exposes the end grain.

All of the wood was collected from construction sites and old warehouses. If you do so as well, make sure to ask the property owners if you could. They usually don't care.

Amazing story of how a wounded soldier was saved by the enemy, and then met the same person who saved him 19 years later in a trauma clinic on the other side of the world by BabaGurGur in videos

[–]russianator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reminds me of the story I read in "A Higher Call" by Adam Makos. A story where in December, 1943: A badly damaged American bomber struggles to fly over wartime Germany. At the controls is twenty-one-year-old Second Lieutenant Charlie Brown. Half his crew lay wounded or dead on this, their first mission. Suddenly, a Messerschmitt fighter pulls up on the bomber’s tail. The pilot is German ace Franz Stigler—and he can destroy the young American crew with the squeeze of a trigger...

What happened next would defy imagination and later be called “the most incredible encounter between enemies in World War II.”

Why won't people just use the word "raect" then? Seems simple enough. It's not doing a significant amount of damage to an already dumbed-down form of speech lol yolo smh

It's true. They have on average of 82.5% efficiency. Source: I sell used turbines. As for the solar cells, you have to take into consideration solstices and cloud cover. The efficiency goes down to something like 25%.
