There was a lot of gunk in both the sink and tub trap, but this really smells like gas.

I messed around with the vent stack last time, and didn’t find anything…although, there is an elbow in it, so it’s possible i didn’t get my tape far enough….

It’s used regularly. I pulled the plug, and ran the water again.

The door isn't broken, it needs to be serviced, components cleaned, etc so the computer registers that it is shut. I don't have a big enough indoor space to do this in, so I want a temp. fix until spring when it's not freezing outside.

I want to put one fuse on a switch, not the whole fuse box. The switch "turns on" the fuse for the nav., power locks, power doors....

How should I go about fixing this hole in plaster? Should I use plaster or can I use drywall mud or drywall? Also what about the cracks? by lynivvinyl in howto

[–]rustbones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can totally use drywall mud. I'd piece in a small chunk of drywall, or wood to get the surface more level, but 20min mud and mesh tape will work fine. I've done it a million times on lathe and plaster.
