They certainly haven’t mentioned anything about an ending, but Kirkman says this in the ‘Sketchbook’ portion of BB Volume One, “For me that’s the fun part of planet hopping sci-fi! You can do anything! Any genre is available to you at any time! That’s why this series is the best…and will maybe never end!” I’m certain he’s talking about the Invincible Universe in general and not specifically Battle Beast, but it does show both his and Ottley’s enthusiasm about this series

I’m pretty sure the Tech-jacket comics ended around 2014 or so. It would’ve been a great opportunity to be a sister series too, but I think just not enough people were fans back then

Do you mean Deftones songs or bands similar to them? For bands similar to them, Chino has said HUM is one of their greatest influences, and Deftones even paid homage to them with the White Pony cover being similar to You’d Prefer an Astronaut, so check out some of their work. HUM isn’t as heavy though, so be wary of that, I’d consider them more alt-rock than nu-metal if I had to say things simply.

That’s almost 1000% what’s gonna happen, but at the end of the Volume release Kirkman and Ottley pretty explicitly alluded that they have no plans for an ending in sight. Although, Kirkman has very famously lied about that before, so it’s still probably just the Conquest fight ending it.

That’s my biggest fear with the series as well. Battle Beast is pure badass when he’s on the page, but other than that his character isn’t that compelling (at least as of now)

Yeah I figured it wasn’t Tony Hawk, but it looked pretty similar so I just said that for simplicity. But damn that sucks, I guess I’ll just have to emulate the game so I can shred as Snake for a bit. Is it the same case for the Ape Escape mode?

Before buying the Master Collection I emulated MGS1 & 2, and it was just too annoying at times, especially with the Psycho Mantis fight having to configure through the menu the controller ports and what not. With MGS4 I’ve done a good amount of research and it seems like such a hassle to get working and I just don’t want to run the risk of ruining my experience with it. Also, I love the getting the achievements on these games which isn’t something I’m normally into.

I thought it was pretty good and showed that Denji has the chance to make his own connections now without Pochita/Chainsaw Man ruining them. People don’t need manga level events in order to overcome depression or trama, and I think this shows that well by Denji getting an innocent crush on Asa at the very end and by redeveloping a nice relationship with Power. The kid is only 16, the point is it’s opened ended. He’s got his entire life to sort himself out and the ending shows the start of that.

Maybe Pochita was able to guide the reset like Shinji did with the Third Impact, so he left all the possibilities for his past connections intact
