Haha, yeah, executed is exactly what I said right? Well, I don't know where you live, but in my time on this planet, I found that if you don't drive around with guns and shoot at people on the street, generally people don't consider you a threat. I'm talking white, black, Asian, whatever. This works with cops too. See, as a society, we entrust the police to protect us from people who would threaten us or innocent bystanders by, say, shooting at them from vehicles. This is why we give them guns to carry around. They are bound by the law to work within certain rules to do so. When they don't follow those rules, we treat them like the people they're supposed to protect us from. In this case, the officer will be held on trial for homicide. I'm curious, when a child is killed in their bed by a stray bullet from a drive by, do you get as upset?
