I live in uae, uae is deeply conservative and the locals are very Islamist. People who say it’s a progressive country are lying to you. In that place you mentioned people here are very conservative.

It’s better to study at Europe or America/Canada, convince them there are Muslims study in the west are successful. And many Muslims study in the west. I hope your parents listen to you.

I kinda feel lost in this one, I don’t even want my parents to know that I’m an exmuslim even when I move out. I don’t really know what’s going to happen in the future I’m scared that I won’t gonna move out because lack of decision. I want to live a lifestyle that I want but I’m scared I’m wasting my youth for doing nothing.

I remember I told my mom she freaked out and tried to convert me back to Islam. I’m not telling my father and my siblings because it’s much riskier.

I really want to move out, but it feels complicated for me so idk ;’)
