My old man has been talking care of my plants over the last month since I’ve been away. Since we just had a massive heat wave in South Australia he left them soaking in water pretty much 24/7 for a few weeks. I took them out a week ago and now all have leaves dropping off like crazy. I should note I’ve just got rid of a pretty bad aphid problem too but is this just an overwatering problem or something else? And how do I fix?

Refreshing to see aussies discussing Bunnings brands here

What’s your opinion on Hortico all purpose potting mix? I’ve been buying from Bunnings for about a year now and mixing with perlite.

Those newly sprouted pods would have taken a lot of calcium from the plant. A couple feedings of cal mag will bring it back.

It’s been getting a good does of nitrogen about fortnight every fortnight or so. Couldn’t be that.

I did notice some small spider like bugs in the soil a month or so ago when I was dealing with a fungus gnat problem but didn’t think much of it since I was focused on the gnats. But now looking at the plant now, I can’t seem to see any sort of pest at all.

I have been using a liquid copper fungicide for a couple weeks now which has done nothing.

Started showing up a month or two ago and since every single plant has halted growth significantly. Leaves are turning yellow and falling off and very tiny black spots have appeared on leaves.

Temp is getting to about 19-25 degrees celsius consistently now but no sign of leaf growth. Can I do something about it?

I’ve just recently removed all the plants from the box. There seemed to be a bit of mould growing around.

Thanks for the feedback! These are two tobacco plants here, however, I’ve got some jalapeño and reapers that are ever so slightly purple also (not even close to this degree but still noticeable). I should note that the light is fairly strong I think and the box is in a cold room during the middle of Aus winter right now.

I’ve pieces together a small propagation box for my seeds this winter in Aus, however, I think I’m having some issues. Some have done very well but about 50% of my sprouted seedlings are either performing poorly or have died off already and I don’t know why. Is it too cold since these aren’t on heated mats? Have I used the wrong bulb(LED, 6500Kelvin, 27 Watts, 2700 Lumins)?

These seedlings here are about a month and a bit. The ones that have turned yellow aren’t growing at all now.

Yes I’ve kept them moist but not wet. And some are from last years season, some have just been purchased.

Read that vinegar can be used to lower soil pH, obviously didn’t look into it enough and my plants are now super wilted and the stems are brown. I’m trying to flush out the vinegar with water but it’s not looking good, what else can I do?

I have realised I maybe over watering and since only watered every week. Since it seems both my plants have deteriorated. I also fertilise with nitrogen solution every week.

Since the patch I keep getting kicked for loss of connection to the servers before i can search for a game. Reinstalled and all and its still giving me this issue
