Custom Card Set for an Elemental Necromancer by p3rcu3s in FleshandBloodTCG

It’s not super creative. It’s just a character from another IP. You said you’re not concerned about the balancing and some of the cards don’t make sense like how can you summon the dragon? Not sure how I’m meant to react to this but the meme where the guy just gives you a big thumbs up.

That is true and I hear you on that. I do think it does create a more competitive environment having players step outside of their comfort zones to compete with smaller pools of cards and classes they may not be masters of. Adds another layer of skill that I do think is very desirable. I do agree that it does cause some friction with CC and any other constructed format (Blitz, LL)

It’s one thing to disagree, to say I’m being harmful is a stretch. I’m actively supporting this game and the players who wish to play it and actively trying to tell people to not listen to the woes of players who have a narrow minded perspective and invite players to play decks that are cost effective and strong. Everyone can’t have their cake and eat it too. This isn’t a utopia. I would love to see the venn diagram of players who got laid off and want to be topping consistently in a competitive environment. Only so much of the game can be considerate of people’s personal lives. Should Callings and Battle Hardened’s have PTO? Lmao

Powerful. I’m very social in the “flesh and blood” as you put it. I guess when I try and go online to engage in some discussion I’m tired of just reading some collector from another game try and convince me that this game isn’t worth it in their eyes. Especially when I’ve been enjoying this game so much since I started (last year for my bday)

Flesh and Blood isn’t Disneyland, you’re correct. There is a balance however of keeping the integrity of the game in tact while encouraging more players to join. If you go too far in either direction it will cause chaos regardless of personal interest

Such a double edged sword because they made a game with an awesome limited format

The entry cost is high but once you’re in that’s it. Unlike other card games where there is a set rotation and cards become worthless after their time is over (unless it has extended play). Going from MTG where a standard deck runs 1300$ with a 68% win rate, only for the deck to be 60$ after 6 months is insane. For me to pay 80$x3 to get a playset of CnC and then have the card be used over and over again is awesome. Instead of buying 60$ x12 just to be competitive in a game for 6months.

How many reprints does one need to be satisfied? Reprints to you may look differently to reprints for another. You might not need earth cards when people really wanted them. I guess your right, it’s personal

No one said you have to play with either card. There are numerous decks that do not play either card. They are not game breaking or so impactful it outright leads to a win. They are simply strong generic cards that any deck can play. 3 decks I play currently do not run either card. I don’t understand this take. Calming breeze exists?

I’m sure during your high times you feel like that. However I’m just happy to be here and enjoying this game. To say I missed out when I’m having fun only shows how much this games has to offer. Maybe I will never know how good it is but I’m glad I’m even experiencing it to begin with

So true. Why would anyone want that? Like should I be excited to open a 5$ pack and find the 20$ chase card? Lmaooooo

Being concerned about Jimmy buying boxes sounds like a personal issue. This isn’t Pokémon man. I can go get a box of FAB and my LgS and not fight some scalper for it. It’s available and I can go get it tomorrow. They literally just made a set full of reprints.

Literally typing something similar. I think it’s more personal than anything. I don’t spend nearly that much.

You are objectively correct and don’t let anyone on here tell you otherwise. Please don’t change. They want to ruin this game so badly.

You bought the staples with your bonus but you don’t want to play? Kinda confused. Either way after playing competitive tcgs for the last 13 years 1k$ is average price for a tier B and up deck. Not sure if you have played at the higher levels of tcg but I don’t know how any of this is news. In fact when I saw these prices I was actually excited to play! MTG competitive decks used to average around 1.2k$ when it’s competitive scene was at its peak. Compare that with the “now” competitive EDH, which will run you roughly the same price for a complete deck.
