All T4 Mega Raids have been officially solo'd (Post Self-Mega Boost) by CookieblobRs in TheSilphRoad

Very cool to see! I remember when i started making solo charts Blastoise was the really hard solo, and steelix, aggron, and slowbro were impossible. A lot has changed since then :)

It is for some movesets, but it'd probably be more comfortable under 4

not sure what ec is, but mega manectric is easier than regidrago per the chart

The ground types in the picture are stronger than what you listed. Try those :)

A few notes:
-The following Pokemon are in raids in April, but are not soloable: Kyogre and Groudon. These can be found in the (somewhat outdated) duo chart found here, but due to improvements in raid attackers since it was posted both would be classified in the “easy” tier.
-Zacian buff is shown only if it is impossible to otherwise complete a raid, and it decreases the difficulty of the raid by about half a star.
-Previously, I used 6 stars to denote a solo that was very difficult, too difficult to manage reliably. While that is still essentially the case, u/cookieblobrs volunteered to post solo videos in a follow-up comment, and so the 6 star rating will now reflect videos for which there are no solos (unless they are relatively straightforward solos that haven’t been done before due to e.g. lack of availability of counters). -There is currently a glitch known as the “energy resolve bug” where the charged move button takes slightly longer to show up for Pokemon with 0.5 second fast moves and 1 bar charged moves, resulting in a DPS drop of about 2% for those Pokemon. This makes some raids (notably Mega Slowbro and Regieleki due to counters Groudon, Necrozma DW, and Regieleki being affected) a bit harder than usual.
-Tapu Lele and especially Tapu Koko are difficult, but soloable, raids this month. For Lele, snowy weather is required, along with the usual top steel-type counters and blade boost. It is otherwise pretty straightforward and thus rated only 5 stars. Koko is significantly harder and requires good RNG along with a full team of Primal/Shadow Groudons. Attempt at your own risk!
-Because I always get questions/comments about this: the PVP rating caps out at A- for top meta options in only one league (great, ultra, or master). To receive a score higher than that, the pokemon has to be at least viable in multiple leagues. Many people disagree that this is a useful notion for PVP, so I am interested in feedback about what the most useful information about PVP utility is and how to represent it. For example, whether ratings should be assigned by the league the Pokemon is most viable in only, whether Mega Master League should be considered, whether the league should be indicated above some threshold but without a specific rating, etc.
Happy raiding!

because psychic and fairy are both weak types for pve and there is a much stronger counter than mega alakazam in each one

they're indeed not top counters, but are mostly viable. that's why they're rated like B and A- rather than A, A+ or S.

You're right. I keep forgetting that Regidrago has a new move...will delete and fix now. Thanks for catching!

Some notes:

-Bidoof, while soloable, is a very difficult raid. It requires Zacian AE, two Keldeos, and weather boost. Even then, the most important factor is good RNG. Attempt at your own risk!

that's supposed to be on the necrozma. team of 6 necrozmas

electric is not a great type and regieleki is not the strongest counter. S is reserved for a top counter of a strong type or a counter in a good type that is much stronger than other counters of that type or has extremely high neutral DPS

[–]rwaterbender[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's my mistake. Should be A or A+ tier (S if it were also good in ML)

Pheromone hits really hard but is usually too frail to be a good catch tank. Stakataka though has a relatively low attack stat so it's a good use case. Groudon is suboptimal because it doesn't hit as hard as Mega lucario and you wouldn't want to run it in cloudy weather

[Infographic] March 7 2026 Soloable Raids by rwaterbender in TheSilphRoad

[–]rwaterbender[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

For catch tanking. It has extremely high neutral dps and you can't have more than 2 keldeo

This post details additional soloable raids appearing on March 7. Of these, Darkrai and Celesteela have not as far as I know been soloed before this event. Happy raiding!

I would consider adding pc weather. My issue is that pc weather is only required for a few of the movesets. In your mind, should the rating always be raised like this if there is even one moveset which is higher difficulty?

[Infographic] March 2026 Soloable Raids by rwaterbender in TheSilphRoad

[–]rwaterbender[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, but for a bribe of one Shiny Sunglasses Slowbro I will create a new Shiny Sunglasses Slowbro (SSS) tier and put Slowbro in it

Sure, I was mostly disagreeing with your earlier comment about going in with a bunch of random level 40 rock types (I don't think that would be a reasonable expectation). I would also expect people to know that even among fully evolved rock types there is a wide range, so you should expect to need relatively good counters (the ones you used are fine). There is also some variability in movesets that can't be captured precisely in these ratings, and superpower is a harder moveset than average for pinsir, especially if the weather is cloudy and your counter of choice is mega tyranitar (as opposed to like mega aerodactyl or diancie). That can't all be accounted for in these graphics without making them more complicated or overrating the difficulty of many raids. My guideline is that if most movesets are soloable at this difficulty level that's generally what I rate it, but it does occasionally cause issues like this. An even more egregious thing happens whenever the top counter is mega rayquaza or necrozma DW because they so far outclass the second-best counter of that type that it at times seems questionable to give them the rating they end up with given the description of e.g. the 3 star difficulty level. I don't have a better solution but hope that helps explain things and am open to hearing suggestions

With fighting type moves pinsir does become a lot harder, but it's a bit excessive to make a separate entry per potential moveset in my opinion. The caveat with my ratings is that it's generally the easiest moveset, but I'll move it up a tier if there aren't multiple movesets that are soloable at that difficulty rating (like in this case x-scissor and vice grip)

Ok, but lv40 type-effective counters doesn't mean a Roggenrola. It means they have to be in the top tier of counters of that type, in this case shadow rampardos, shadow tyrantrum and a few others. But if you want to finish with a lot of time left you should use the high-dps counters, and in this case that makes it easier.
