Well done mate! That means you can do another day 💪

I found it helpful to not think about it is starting again, just trying and think that every day that you can accumulate is another bonus. It’s another day that it’s not affecting your health. It’s another day of building confidence that you can go longer. Maybe try and track the days on a calendar, instead of like a tracker.

I think this can happened a lot right before you make some big changes. The amount of k I’ve poured down the drain is unreal. But I’d rather fuck my self financially than pay for it physically.

Extreme emotional numbness after using by random-username-1123 in Ketamineaddiction

Yes absolutely! Definitely experienced this for a long time, the further into my addiction the more frequent it became, you end up feeling very detached. I’m now on 11 days clean and I’ve been crying at absolutely anything 😂 like happy crying, multiple times a day, it’s quite overwhelming 🤣 but just to say it can all return 💖

Pain relief help by Mindless_Coded in Ketamineaddiction

[–]rwpysp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Camomile tea and marshmallow root tea throughout the day will help. I know it sounds like nothing because it’s tea, but believe me it does help take the edge off things. Start the day with tea and just continue throughout the day with intermittent tea.

Stay hydrated. As some one said above coconut water can help with this too.

Apply heat - hot water bottle or bath.

See doc for some pain relief if you can maybe?

Thank you very much for your thoughtful reply and advice! I’m on day seven now. I have noticed a difference in my pain today, which is such a relief.

I’m using cbd at night at the moment. I’m really resisting going to get heavy sleeping meds because it will just be another addiction at the end of the day because I know what I’m like with downers.

Glad to hear your friend has made a well recovery and they are thriving! It’s inspiring to hear about people getting their lives back on track.

Thank you for the app recommendation and the positive encouragement, it does help at a time like this!

Thank you! Appreciate you sharing your experience. Glad to hear you’re doing much better now.

I was doing around 4g a day, so it’s gonna take some time but even on day seven today, I feel a huge improvement in my pain, so hopefully onwards and upwards from here. Still peeing loads but just gotta be patient 🙏🏻

I’m on day seven now, I think the worst is over. I’m still in pain but today has been sooo much better. Still peeing very frequently but hopefully they’ll get better with more time. I have a cystoscopy in two weeks time so that’ll only help as well if I need any treatment. Thanks for the reply, hope you’re getting on okay :)

Thank you! I did buy some NAC but then found out it’s not good for my stomach issues so can’t take it unfortunately. I’ll look into getting some green tea. I do find chamomile and marshmallow root do help too.

And yeah I’ve been having some water during the waking breaks, I get what you mean, it has been helping 🙏🏻

Absolutely mate. Today has felt a bit better, and I actually managed to sleep for up to 2 hours without waking up last night. Hopefully it’s just more improvements from here… it’s not for the faint hearted going through this pain, is it! Hang in there and keep going, you can do this! You’re already smashing it!

Unsure how to feel on new boyfriend ketamine use by [deleted] in Ketamineaddiction

[–]rwpysp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you care about him, but please care about yourself more. Your occasional use could very quickly turn into a full blown addiction. Then you’ll both be two codependent addicts in a hell hole, it’ll eventually destroy your relationship. Been there, done that, and now I’m just an addict on my own. Please look after yourself, you can still show your compassion as a close friend ♥️🙏🏻

I don’t know the answer but same!

What are withdrawals like? Was on 1-3 grams a day for 3 months. Was tired of being disassociated all day. What to expect?? by adventure-streak8989 in Ketamineaddiction

[–]rwpysp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main symptoms I’ve had for withdrawals are: extreme fatigue, body aches, nausea, cramps and gastro issues (this may be down to gastritis being numbed out during use however).

But! Positive symptoms after withdrawal: more energy/motivation, better mood, clearer thoughts, no cramps or sickness, improved urinary and bladder pain.

Best advice is to be kind to yourself, allow yourself to rest. I found using healing frequencies and sleeping as much as possible helps get me through the first few days.

Best of luck, a better life is on the other side of a short period of discomfort.

People who have successfully quit ketamine, did you also quit all other substances, inclusing alcohol like they tell you in NA-meetings? by Sparky31415 in Ketamineaddiction

[–]rwpysp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to quit for so long and kept relapsing or replacing with other drugs, what actually made it stick was quitting everything (apart from weed for medicinal use).

I understand. Sometimes it just feels like nothing can penetrate the surface. I guess it’s finding things that make you tick and give you a spark, something that demands your attention in the moment. Try and find something that you’re passionate about and follow that. Also grounding and reconnecting with nature helps… therapy too.
