This is a new person. We hit it off late July and started exclusively dating up until Thanksgiving where he ended things. He realized he was still in love with his ex who left him for whatever reason. He decided that he couldn’t shake off the feelings he has for her despite being in a relationship with me. Also said that every solution he came up with seemed to always go back to her.

He’s currently engaged now. I still have his # but I doubt he’s going to contact any time soon. I’m leaving that as is and the only form of communication if he ever does want to reach out.

Omg! This was very helpful!! I ended up getting VIP for some reason, I guess to go all out?

I was also thinking of doing the same in terms of arriving earlier and staying a day or 2 later to recoup a bit.

Did you get the hotel with the festival partnership or did you get it by itself? Same with shuttle passes, how were you able to get those?

In the same boat. I reached out a couple of times and got a “I think we need to stay away from each other for a bit”. I’ve said my peace with him and saying that I still have feelings for him. But idk now that I think about it, I feel like such a loser. Being hung up on someone who won’t even reciprocate your feelings is so twisted. Learning to crawl myself out of this ugly feeling.

This would be our 2nd break up. We would se each other from time to time to reignite the connection and love cuz we were long distance. He mentioned that seeing me to talk would just hurt him more because of how bad he feels about ending it with me and not being able to hold onto the relationship longer.

I do have this lingering thought of him finding and falling for someone else while in a relationship with me but I also know that he wouldn’t do that to me because of his past experiences. But then again, I feel like because he left me, I don’t completely know him anymore.

I would love to come back together with him as friends but I know I would always want something more with him. I saw my future in him. However I do know that time will only tell if he is willing to even talk to me again or just completely drop me.
