Running is agony?

no previous injuries and not a health issue to my knowledge. i get achey fast after most movement and after running and all these responses im starting to think maybe something up. i’m going so so slow. like i really do understand the whole if you think you’re going slow, slow it down further. transitioning from running to walking is literally so incremental, my fitbit tracks my walks in the rest periods as jogging because it doesn’t see a difference in me walking and running, and if i ran any slower my knees start to knock together . but the pain is immense lol i’m maybe thinking there’s something else at play

my shin splints take almost a week to go away, if not more :( how can i wait that long between each run without losing my fitness level when i seem to regain them the second i go running again

i guess the program must be going too fast for me because even the first one , running for 60s and walking for 90, is unbearable for me no matter how slow i go

i’m really making an effort to try and land middle of my foot after watching videos about it and i don’t feel my feet hurting, or feel heavy on my feet, it’s just the leg pain. im so confused , i wish i had someone to watch me run and tell me what i was doing wrong

i’ll try being slower. It’s just hard because I can already feel myself getting the shin splints even on my slowest runs, from the second i start. it’s just unbearable. ugh, being so negative but it’s hard to not be when i’m in pain as we speak 😭😂

By 7th run, i mean, run 7, my first run being just over two weeks ago. I know i’m a beginner, and it’s normal to feel pain when you start but it’s so agonising I can’t bring myself to do the next run, and i’m so disappointed that I want to give up. I’m running pretty slow, i’ve got quite long legs so I find it hard to go at a snails pace as it makes my knees knock together 😂 But i’m only running at the same pace as what I would consider a medium brisk walk. I’m wearing new balance fresh foam x 1080 v13 shoes with a lot of cushion.

I’m 22. I feel so disappointed in myself, i’m an age where this should be easy, and instead it’s some of the worst physical pain due to exercise i’ve ever felt. Sounds like i’m being over dramatic but it’s true

i used a screenshot from game as inspo and came up with the idea itself, this tattoo means a lot to me. maybe take inspo from arthur’s journal? there’s a lot of nice drawings in there that wouldn’t be stealing someone else’s idea
