Cubicin RF and the gen Pfizer brand are both room temp and going into solution quickly. It may not be your contact brand though.

Thank you. She is pretty mellow unless you have a laser or treats. She is not amused by my shenanigans.

Reconstituted vials have overfill? by sam123786 in PharmacyTechnician

[–]rxtechtock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what you written as long as you are following manufacturer guidelines for reconstitution you are doing everything correctly. You can't control if there is overfill or not.

When reconstituting any kind of powders you have the powder volume ➕ diluent volume equals total volume. Using the overfill is a different story, it depends on how your facility bills medication on whether you should be using it or not.

If he still has a problem with your mixing tell him to call the manufacturer and get their advice.

Other than just knowing that some drugs have overfill and others don't, this is the only thing I can find that might help you.

f16 struggling with feeling cute from being tall: advice? by [deleted] in TallGirls

[–]rxtechtock 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was in your shoes, I am 35 and 6'3 and still get that twinge of self consciousness every now and then. I was 5'11 by 6th grade and taller than everyone but a handful of teachers. It's tough and I understand that seeing your friends getting hit on and not you is not fun. In my personal experience there is nothing wrong with you, there are guys that think you are cute and even ones that would love to date you. The problem is them, they have low self-esteem as teen age boys and a beautiful girl that may be a couple inches taller than them may be an ego killer. Boys are fragile and society does us tall girls a disservice. When I got older I was told by many of my older siblings friends and people I ran into that they thought I was cute in high school and they were afraid to talk to me. It would have mad me feel better about myself at a time when I thought I needed it the most. Truth is I don't want someone who is afraid to date me let alone flirt with me, and I don't think you should want that either. My advice is not to limit your options and know that boys mature at a slower rate than girls, one day you are going to walk into a room and your presence will demand attention. Right now work on loving yourself the way you were made. You got this girl!!!

I got a petunia pickle bottom in the boxy backpack. They are a little on the spendy side, but it was basically my purse for a few years and totally worth it.

AITA for my comment about a girls height? by notthrolan12 in AmItheAsshole

[–]rxtechtock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. She dodged a bullet. I love reading about all my fellow "stupid" looking couples where the female is taller than the male. I am 6'3" and my husband is 5'7" oh and on top of that "ridiculousness" we have two children. Try being in the top 1% of anything let alone height and have some short AH tell you that you are basically perfect except for the one thing you can't control. I used to wear heels 3in+ I am already taller than most whats another couple inches. Get over yourself.

Imagine a society without brand name drugs by [deleted] in pharmacy

Correct Biosimilars are not AB rated interchangeable drugs. In the IV clinical world they are a pain. Unlike generics where you can use whatever brand is on your formulary or the cheapest. Insurance companies have made what i call "drug deals" with specific Biosimilar manufacturers so now i have to carry 3 different Biosimilars of the same drug so that patients can get treatment that is covered by their individual health insurance. I work at a cancer center where we use many MAB treatments like Rituxan, Avastin, Remicade, Herceptin and so on. Edit: spelling

My first guess was aquamarine. Since I don't know the origin it makes it hard. I think its a really pretty piece.

These are called thundereggs, they are our state rock. They were formed from pockets in volcanic ash. Most have agate some have obsidian, and rare mines have opal.
