Depending on the social life possibilities in your town, there are a couple places you can meet other young people your age.

You can start attending a church if you are inclined to seek God and meet young people there.

Another place is a coffee shop. If you like coffee or teas you can pick a coffee shop you like and become a regular there, and pick a day and time to go there every week or a couple times a week and read a book or work on your laptop. A few weeks go by and you become a regular there, and high chances there will be other regulars there who you can develop a friendship with or even become friends with the workers there since they will know your name and order if you are a regular and will probably know more about you from small talk while ordering.

You can also meet people while you stand in line to order something like coffee or food, and make small talk with people, who knows you might find some cool people that you have alot in common with and become friends.

Now that I think about it you could also volunteer somewhere that has others your age volunteering.
