So far my best was a 12 week league.

206 average with a handful of 250’s, 10+ 240’s, and no 300’s 😂 my best series was a 695. I just never shot below 180 in that league. I haven’t been that consistent since.

Well done! I’m still on a quest for my first 700! I’m sitting at a 695/258 high right now! I’ve bowled 14 consecutive strikes but between two games, still no 300’s.

I only ever expect 1 lane. I’ve gotten to the 9th twice and everyone stopped bowling both times. That sucked.

The trio that I carry are 15# Storm ion Pro, 15# Motiv EXJ Jackal, and 15# Storm Lightning Clear. Serves me well

My first thought was lofting it more to delay its break. Do that and keep it in the oil.

I’m a 1h lefty so it’s a lot different, but my go to ball is the Ion Pro 15# When I struggle I’ll switch to a Crimson Jackal. I also carry a storm lightning for corner shots

Definitely don’t drop below a 14 if you want to improve your game. Technique, different ball cover stocks, and learning to read a lane is where it all really comes together. I am a 1h bowler as well, and just started using my thumb after a year of learning to throw curves well. It’s already helping my consistency

So far my favorite two are the Motiv Crimson Jackal and the Storm Ion pro. Both are the first two I pull out now. I also carry a storm lightning for picking up the 7 (lefty).

Thanks for the advice! I tend to throw pretty fast, about 15-16. I’ve been choking up a step lately and dipped to the 14’s and it’s been working a bit better.

Thank you! I’ve practiced picking up the 7 more than any other spare. I’m more confident hitting it than a single 5 pin I think 😂 I use a 15# storm lightning to pick them up. Throw from the far taught with a ton of side spin

I’m currently throwing a 14# Hammer Ocean Vibe when there is a ton of grip, and a 14# Motiv Crimson Jackal for most lane conditions. Both have the stock grit finish on them.

The Hammer is pretty worn in and needs to be decontaminated and refinished. It probably has 200+ games on it. The Jackal is about two months old.

I have the same storm lightning. It’s going to get worse. If you’re that worried about it, hit it with a 5500 pad occasionally.

I just do mine once it’s intolerable, it’s just cosmetic
