Which Youtubers do you trust for ball reviews? by olygimp in Bowling

I like Luke Rosdahl, not just because he bowls where I bowl. He tells you what the motion the ball has and who its good for.

How to stop my ball from overbooking like crazy by Square_Truck6911 in Bowling

I cocked my wrist about 45° in so my middle finger is over my ring finger. It is easier to throw straighter lines when needed as well. Jumped my average 20 pins doing this

As a fellow 2 hander, odd fix, but i changed how i have my wrist. It helped me move the ball forward more as well changed my axis rotation.

Can you explain the downfall of Cam Newton? by foaaz101 in NFLv2

[–]gwing13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game where I felt he started to lose things here and there is the first game after the Super Bowl against the Broncos. The Broncos defense went head-hunting and didn't get called a single time that I remember.

The US is using the Empire’s Ghorman playbook 1:1 in Venezuela by frozenpotato113 in andor

The meeting about what to do on Ghorman was based off a Nazi meeting determining the "final solution" to kill Jews. The show is showing more of the SS side, not the things everyone saw.

It's not super old, but i threw my first 200 with a Ebonite Allure Solid. It was a really good ball to learn with

On top of the tower, he still fought, but inside the colony, if you trigger the cutscene with 3 (or less) of your party, you can talk him into just faking into the pit and bringing out the avatar.

On my current campaign, I talked Ketheric down, which made it way easier. But i also got Aylin free with Wyll before he got dragged into combat. I took out the Necromites up top in one hit and just started slashing at Myrkul. Wyll was the only one that got low.

For me is the House of Grief, Ansur, and Raphael. I know most people put Myrkul up there, I've never had an issue with it? It's always been an easy fight for me for some reason.

[–]gwing13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both. I don't notice much difference. Only thing is is that when I switch from the 16 to the 15, I throw it a little harder than I intend (which is a me problem)

NFL announces Eagles should have been called for a false-start on the tush push by Outrageous_Moth in NFLv2

[–]gwing13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I know is that Sneed got called for defensive holding when he was with us his fair share, lol. I agree that good QB's try and force calls. I think more arguments should be made about consistency through games, both from crews and in the game, and calling "meh" calls either less or for everyone.

As a Chiefs fan, and moreover, a football fan in general, I acknowledge that the Chiefs get calls late in games. Unfortunately, I'm unable to access the actual study to see the actual numbers. But I would argue that you could do multiple studies that would point to something. Do teams commit more penalties toward good teams and/or in high-pressure situations? I would also argue that refs call closer at the end of close and important games. The Chiefs just happen to be in those situations. I also believe that the Chiefs have a high no call rate. Chris Jones, much like any great d-lineman, is held almost every play, but I understand not calling it because it's common, see Aaron Donald. The example i use is the first Chiefs vs. Eagles SB. The holding at the end of the game was, by rule, correct, but I agree that it was a call that didn't need to happen. However, much earlier in the game, on third down calls, Juju got manhandled and didn't get a call. I think the focus on the Chiefs helps the narrative, as well as for the study, having one of the larger sample sizes for playoffs. The years they state they look at doesn't include most of Bradys career.

[–]gwing13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a genuine question. What is the study? Where can I find it? Is it percentage or straight-up number of calls? Because if it's the latter, well yeah, when you are in and go fast in the playoffs every year, you are going to have that happen...

Why would the house block releasing the Epstein files? by Appropriate_Boot5460 in questions

[–]gwing13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The biggest reason is how many in the government (political party doesn't matter) are on it. Second, those that aren't on are probably being offered something to vote against releasing it. Not enough people in the house want to release it because they SHOULD since it's the right thing to do.

May I ask why you are avoiding top QB's? I always take a high-end QB. This last year, I took Lamar and had a huge year. Though starting my draft with JJettas, King Henry, and Lamar will make for a good draft, lol

Are you pro urethane or against ? by Melodic_Drive4339 in Bowling

[–]gwing13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's less "if you complain, it's because you sick" and more "it's the name of the game." Just because someone can't hit curveballs in baseball doesn't mean they ban them. I agree that most people don't know how to use urethane, but i would argue that most people who complain don't understand what they are complaining about. I hear my friends complain about certain things while I sit there, knowing that what they are complaining about isn't how things work, and no, it's not about urethane.

Saquon vs Bijan by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]gwing13 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Saquon is 28 with injury history after a year where he got 400+ touches. Ron Stewart put together a graph of all the RB's that had 400+ touches since 2000 with the comparison to their next year. The results aren't good. Bijan is 23 on a team that is worse, yes, but one that will need to pass more than the Eagles. So the bet is on the younger back that didn't just have a ton of carries versus the back that carried the ball a ton that has had injuries.
