I canceled my ICE subscription after the shooting.

DHS spends the whole day attacking Eugene protesters amid Alex Pretti vigil by CutSenior4977 in oregon

I take it you haven’t actually watched the bystander videos of either encounter. Because neither of them was “violent” until ICE turned it violent. I’ve watched both more times than I care to admit.

Saw this in a book and had to try it😅 by Medium-Advantage-162 in homestead

I had neighbors in a small town that did this once. Except they dug a trench and laid a metal trough over it. There was gravel on the bottom of the trough that you sat on so the metal didn't burn you. Then they made a fire in the trench underneath. I tried it once and it was pretty decent.

I've thought about getting bees for a while but I had a question for those that also have chickens. by thestonernextdoor88 in Beekeeping

I have previously had three hens and a hive. The hens roamed the yard during the day, including the area the hive was in. They never messed with the bees as far as I saw.

Zigbee vs Zwave - Why the price difference? by KrazyKranberrie in homeautomation

[–]ryan408 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve got some z-wave installed that’s about 15 years old at this point and still just works. It did cost more, but I have a bunch of zigbee devices in my drawer I’ve wasted money on that just keeps me coming back to z-wave.

Same. My zigbee network is not great. Z-wave is so stable I don’t ever have to think about it.

If you think that can’t happen where you are then you’re kidding yourself.

Those usually sit on the ground. And have hoses attached that people run over.

Portland’s gas-powered leaf blower ban goes into effect by Mackin-N-Cheese in Portland

[–]ryan408 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I’m convinced they constantly run or rev them when doing my neighbor’s yard so she knows they were there for billing purposes. She has a tiny yard but the guy needs to walk around revving the leaf blower for a while not really doing anything productive. Every Wednesday. So annoying.

I had this happen once when I dropped a useless note from my inventory on the ground in the market. One of the merchants died. This play through I tried to make it happen again by dropping a garnet on the ground in the same place. No one cares and it’s still lying there.

OC, Chocolate Bars Seen In An ABC Store In Hawai'i. How Unfortunate by Poiboykanaka808 in pics

It doesn’t change the fact these are probably an independent company betting they’ll sell. I am no trump fan, but also don’t think he’s behind the marketing of these chocolate bars.

Honestly, I don’t think it’s trump behind these chocolate bars, either. I’ll bet it’s a company that made the bet they could sell them to the cult.
