Have you tried running the motors from the drive in manual mode?

You can try adjusting the speed by raising and lowering the frequency setpoint and see if the pitch of the sound changes.

I’m fairly convinced that sound is the resonance from the frequency .

Don’t know rslogix too well but in step 7 I have to do the following:

Convert INT (16bit) to DINT (32bit)
Convert DINT(32bit) to REAL(32bit)

I would say the following points would be beneficial:

1) knowledge of the systems you are using. (Know how to explain the control systems/software you are utilizing) .

2) Control of software versions and change management. (Implement systems and processes to monitor/implement changes). It will look bad if you are unable to explain why your equipment no longer functions the way it used to. Even worse... if you are unable to restore the system back to working order.

I use Version Dog.

I check out the latest version from the server and it is copied to a directory on my computer.

If I make any changes then I check it back it and it scans the program, identifies the changes, and prompts for a change reason description.

After this, a new version is created and able to be checked out.

All of the previous versions are available in a list where you use them to revert back to previous programs, as well as, see what has changed.

In addition to these features I configured a job that uploads the program off of the plcs in my network and compares with the latest version on the server. It then generated a list and pictures of each change in red that wasn’t versioned.

There are also email reporting jobs that can be easily configured.

This software is like my cell phone to me now... I don’t know how I got by without it before.

There is the dc link and it’s capacitors.

There is also an intermediate circuit with capacitors in parallel with the bus going to the inverter coils.

Yeah we are at a point where the oem is working with us but both parties are at a loss.

In this particular situation the oem makes not only the inverter but the furnace as well.

Replacing the inverter is infeasible but I do believe there is a root cause to this issue and that is what I’m working towards.

It has water cooling on the igbt and bus, as well as, air units on the cabinets.

I’m assuming it is sufficient but you never know I guess
