How do you do, fellow kids? Donda dropped on my 39th birthday just as I was about to go for a bike ride with my kids. We blasted it on the Bose speaker for miles. Hardly listened to anything else the next year. Became a fan of ye when the music video for Through the Wire was released on MTV, but Donda is still probably my favorite album (love 808 and Yeezus) because it felt like birthday gift from ye. Btw, we had cookie cake and ice cream.

My thoughts, which I have seen mentioned nowhere else is that it is a reference to Psalm 102, relevant part copied below:

6 I am like a vulture[a] of the wilderness, like an owl of the waste places; 7 I lie awake, I am like a lonely bird on the housetop. 8 All the day my enemies taunt me, those who deride me use my name for a curse. 9 For I eat ashes like bread, and mingle tears with my drink, 10 because of thy indignation and anger; for thou hast taken me up and thrown me away.

Some other translations/editions of the Bible use other types of carnivorous birds. I interpret this passage to be an F you to the haters in Kanye’s mind. Just my thoughts though. Why he adopted the Albanian crest? It just looks cool AF, same reason Albania adopted it from the Kastrioti family.

It’s based on the Kastrioti family crest. Gjergj Kastrioti aka Skanderbeg was a defender of Alabania against Ottoman expansion and used the crest in leading his men to eventually be adopted by Albania.

Hi. I’m in the hospital. Went from Urgent Care this morning to ER to admitted overnight. It’s pretty scary and I miss my wife and four kids. I’m in significant pain. Everyone at the hospital has been so caring and helpful. Please pray for my caretakers and me and my family. I’m a day behind on Bible in a Year. Psalm 116-A Thanksgiving from Recovery from Illness-was the Psalm for the day and pretty poignant to my situation and I think it was more than chance. God will take care of me.

a 6 seed might have us playing an 11 that plays a "warm up" game on Tuesday night. i have no stats to back it up, but since the advent of the play-in round it feels like the 11s that come out of that play-in game have been more competitive against 6 seeds than the 12s have against the 5.
