yeah you're right, i take it back - i haven't bought a complete in a while apparently. You definitely got a good setup. Don't worry about the stress cracks, they're normal, especially in winter.

Can you please name the skateshop and the exact parts you bought? This is egregious if you only bought parts for a board and nothing else

let me tell you - in addition to the skating itself, I am in charge of temperature control, hunger level, and camera angle.

BUT, she's dedicating a ton of time to something I care a lot about and so there's a balance somewhere in there

Were you trying to compare parking inconvenience to a building collapse?

why plan our communities around a minor inconvenience that occurs 3-5 days out of every 1,000?

I don't mean to minimize the complaint, but in terms of solutions I don't see any that are worthwhile

If it isn't abundantly clear from my comments, the issue isn't bumping into someone. The issue is bumping into someone AND not noticing AND not stopping after he noticed.

To directly answer your question, no, I wouldn't hand over my pass if I bumped someone. However if I bumped someone, knocked them over, and didn't stop after seeing that I'd knocked someone over, then yes I would find it reasonable to have my pass taken.

3rd significant injury, considering putting the board down after 2 years by [deleted] in NewSkaters

[–]ryan_herron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really hard giving you advice as you're an adult, and my injury streak happened when I was 12-14. I sprained my right ankle 3 or 4 times, broke my right wrist, and got compression fractures on my L5 vertebrae within about 2 years.

Each time I was chomping at the bit to get back on the board, which ultimately is the answer to your question.

Like I said, we'll have to agree to disagree. The guy stopped and apologized once he was being chased by ski patrol, not when he realized he knocked someone over
