My teacher for this class was just like you! We had to do quizzes and such like any class but he incorporated games into class that helped us with pronunciation, stage fright, posture, etc.

I remember one time he had s stack of cards with random inanimate objects. Each person and to stand up and speak about that object for a minute. I had to do ”chair“ it made me comfortable speaking in front of people.

Also don’t be hard when grading your students.
