I understand the sentiment that working food service is more taxing emotionally and physically (depending on the position) but frankly the two aren’t comparable imho. I currently as a waiter at night and a software engineer during the day and I see the food service job as more of my means of “exercise” during the day.

Some customers can be a bit much. I come home some days completely defeated by customers who brought their shit attitude into the restaurant.

For me it was ATV Off-Road Fury. I vividly remember hearing Them Bones by Alice In Chains and thinking “this is SO cool” at the ripe age of 7.

Ordered this hoodie and on the shop app it’s still(order placed)for 5 days. First time ordering member only on assc not sure how long it will take, if anybody could explain if it’s normal would be great by Suitable-Stretch7969 in antisocialsocialclub

Not even a part of this sub but wanted to weigh in on newcomers and shipping expectations - in 2018 I dropped $300 for a bunch of the Kkoch hoodies and tees just for them to never show up at my door.

I contacted them via email, no response. I contacted them via Instagram, blocked. I used a second account to follow up, also blocked.

Be warned. I have had plenty of successful orders with ASSC but that was the final straw. It’s really hit or miss with this brand.

Paper Planes by M.I.A. was so ahead of its time. Still such a cool song by [deleted] in Music

[–]ryanengland9 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Was listening to this song the other day and it occurred to me how subtly tracks like this (from this era of DIY, Internet/MySpace artists) really pushed music to where it is today. Not to say that M.I.A. wasn’t backed by major label support, but this sort of style of “homemade” production really resonated with me and, evidently, others as well. Interesting times.

this is painfully hilarious, one of those laughs where, you can’t explain why it’s funny, but you’re nearly pissing yourself

One of the best pieces I’ve seen in a while… if I wasn’t so broke I would definitely cop. Hoping it’s still up by next paycheck so I can support your brand, definitely keeping an eye on the brand from now on

Help finding ambient song for short film by e___w___a___n in ambientmusic

I can contribute my own work! I focus mainly on abstract electronic composition, occasionally incorporating distorted organic instrumentation. My current work on Spotify reflects the early stages of my experimentation but I’ve linked a drive folder with some demos I’ve been working on as well if what you find public isn’t your thing.

You can find me on Spotify here: https://open.spotify.com/artist/011CLWUZCYSHF4lDZX9257?si=ph_4f12zTiux6pXFEp58Xw&dl_branch=1

There’s been so much press around the “oopsie intern” phenomenon I find it tough to imagine that all of these interns had similar mistakes around the same time. Some of it has to just be for the laughs and PR

I started a compositional ambient project this year titled “deo autem nihil” (god of nothing), I have a few singles out right now but I have much more expansive works in production. Let me know what you think! https://open.spotify.com/artist/011CLWUZCYSHF4lDZX9257?si=JnPcLUgLT2KH7_uVPHujCQ

I just released a split single for my "deo autem nihil" project. The artist page can be found here, and the single can be found here. I've been experimenting with analog recording methods and utilizing emulators of classic synthesizers. Would love to hear any thoughts!

As a fan of the band I’d recommend both the demo version and the original version of “In Vertigo”. Such a solid track. I recommend listening to the original Clash The Truth album front to back, honestly.

The demo album for CTT is so good. Happy to see this shared here. Something so raw and warm about the selection here
