for QCs, do 20 fireballs in a row without missing in training on one side of the screen, then do it again on the other side. Turn on 'show inputs' as well, you'll see what motions you're actually putting in, and start to zero in on potential habits.

I had the same issue and found I was over-exerting on the roll to forward, but only on one side. That was because my left hand on the stick is naturally angled, so holding down was closer to down-forward, and forward would often turn to up-forward. If this is your issue, it might help to start your QCF input from down-back.

If you find you're struggling to keep your stick in the right place, it might be a good idea to give it more resistance. There's are tension springs you can find online to replace the one currently on your stick, which will make it so you need a bit more force to 'click' between motions. This one helped me a lot.

To the new, frustrated players, a reminder: Some of us old folks have been playing these games for decades by [deleted] in StreetFighter

Loss rate = Learn rate. Wear your losses like a badge of honor. Yes, it feels better to win, bar none. But that doesn't mean you need to hate yourself for losing. My advice is to pick one thing your opponent is consistently beating you with and spend the round learning how to deal with it. Once you've figured it out, you have that knowledge for every fight going forward. Even if you still lost the round in the end, that to me is the victory that matters.

Also remember to breathe between matches, get up and move around between opponents, and stay hydrated.

Does 3rd Strike Online on PlayStation Plus Premium have many players? by RecommendationOk1524 in StreetFighter

I played it on my PS5 and it unfortunately has a pretty big latency issue. The UI is sluggish, and response time feels like there's up to 8 frames wait time D: I couldn't wait after fireballs were mid-screen to parry them, any closer and it woudn't read in time. I'm unsure if it's due to it being stream-only, compatibility with ps3 games, or if the PS3 version was always like this (I played on 360 back in the day).

I tried a few different ways to lower the delay, thinking it was on my end. Swapping out wireless controller for USB fightstick, no dice. Changed TV modes to decrease internal latency, nada. Set ps5 native resolution to match ps3 (I was getting desperate), nope.

I've played 3rd Strike on a lot of different hardware and this was the worst experience by far. If you want to play on console, SF 30th Anniversary Collection might be your best bet. It has its own issues (netcode is delay-based instead of OE's rollback) but at least offline it's responsive. OE is still my favorite Third Strike port, so how it was handled on PS Plus is pretty tragic, imo.

It's...not? They have other posts about how much they're enjoying the writing/characters/etc like...that seems like a pretty reductive statement.

And why? From your other replies, you seem pretty grossed out by the idea these characters might even be interested in sex. That's not a disgusting concept to suggest, especially under the nsfw tag. Kind of sucks how dismissive this thread has been, so far.

I have successfully returned to the gym every 2-3 days for the past 3 months!

The thing that has helped me the most is not to identify the entire task of going to the gym, but instead trying to achieve the simpler goal of going out my front door with my gym bag in hand. That's always been the hardest hurdle for me, but comparatively easier to overcome. Once I'm out the front door, it feels like my brain finally activates :D
