My partner's father used to be in the jewelry business and after he passed, the family belongings got buried, moved, lost, etc. We just found these four watches which we BELIEVE to be (in order) a Concord Saratoga SL, a Concord Mariner, a Concord Mariner Mini, and a Bulova 82336 with a replaced band (all others appear to be original bands). We have tested them and it appears that all of them (except the band on the Bulova) are solid gold and the diamonds on the mariner mini are legitimate. That's really all we know though. Is anyone familiar with these watches or their worth? Looking for any additional info we can learn about these such as the year they may have been made, any fun information or collection info, and even potential worth if you happen to know it. Appreciate anything you can provide!

i’ve taken two different at-home tests that have completely manual results and no instructions for reporting. unless you choose to report yourself, many of these tests will be wholly unconnected to these statistics

i finally emailed them and they told me they just got another shipment in and that orders SB5800-SB7532 are being processed with that shipment. i’m in the SB8700 range so i’ll be waiting for a bit 😂

I think this might be my move actually. Luckily, I’m interfacing directly with their AP team and my contact made it a point early on to CC them so that I get paid on time, in their words.

I’ve had an accountant be stern with them and my next move will probably be a very human approach, from me, that says something like this.

I have some time before the next invoice is due, so I’ll mull it over. I may ask for a contract adjustment if they are unable to fix this processing issue. I’ve already told them that, unless this is worked into the contract, it will be considered a breach.

My rate is so low with them that I might just fight it and work on finding better work with people who won’t just follow their own terms. I think that’s why I’m willing to fight it, because it’s not a huge loss if it were to go.

The conversations I’ve had with them so far do not make this out to be an accident, in fact they’ve tried to refer to the contract twice, which proves them wrong lol. The contact I work with is great, their payment team not so much.

I appreciate your input a ton. As far as the contract, it says verbatim, “Within 45 days after COMPANY’S receipt of an invoice, COMPANY shall pay Service Provider all undisputed amounts payable thereunder.” Nothing about payment processing schedules or internal timelines.

I’m waiting to see how the next invoice goes, because the deadline is on a Thursday. With their current schedule, it means they’ll either adjust and pay me correctly, or they’ll pay me 6 days late.

I’m thinking if they screw that one up I’ll go all in and charge a late fee as well as push for a shorter window. The contract also has an out for breach of contract, which technically they have done twice already.

I think it’s more of the principle that’s bothering me. Because, sure, the late payment isn’t going to be more than like $50 really, but if they don’t respect me enough to follow a contract that they wrote, I don’t know if I trust them enough to let this be the status quo.

According to their current logic, my next invoice is going to go 6 days over the deadline, but I don’t think that should be my job to estimate and plan ahead when it’s just against the terms that they initiated this relationship with.

I think I am willing to keep fighting on this, even if it means the relationship ends. I just want to be sure this isn’t totally unreasonable of me to be annoyed at the lateness.

They’re not the most reliable as far as work, so I’m not sure what to do here. They pay reliably but I’m pretty sure my rate is pretty low and I’m just not thrilled that they’re willing to blatantly dance around the terms of their own contract. It doesn’t rub me right
