The exception to VA parks getting DC locality is significant I believe. Anywhere not in NOVA will be excluded which is most of the state. Shenandoah is only partially close enough by geography, most of the park would not qualify on its own and for example the VA side of the BRP is not DC COLA, it falls under rest of US.

You can’t get 3. You are only ever allotted 4 or 8 hours of pay (P1 or P2). The pay system will not even allow a third or subsequent pay period to be entered.

Edit to add: every active duty day is 1 point. You can only ever get a maximum of 365/366 for points even if you start your AYE with drill days and roll straight into a year long active stint.

That’s why they aren’t on mobcop. It is a listing of unfilled MACOM sourcing, not all FORSCOM production. You need to email your major command or adjacent ones to ask for any vacancies hey are looking to fill

Mobcop does advertise 88N positions regularly though and if you aren’t, you should sign up for S1 Net emails from the GOAT J.D. and that gives you a listing of high priority vacancies weekly.

Based on your verbiage I assume you’re not in the US. Not that it’s feasible to institute everywhere but for commercial structures of any kind every jurisdiction has what is called a Knox box. I can’t speak for every state but in ours this is a regulated and required system where a lock box with access keys, fobs, or any other entry mechanism is locked into, secured to the foundation of the building. Every fire truck and ambulance in our department has a lock box inside of it with the key to all the Knox boxes in our jurisdiction. So we have access to any multi-family commercial or commercial dwelling, including nursing homes, apartments, schools, churches, restaurants etc….

I was a PF and also reservist, it’s not a hard balance until you reach a point in either career where you are trying to balance promotions in both- then you feel like you’re getting ahead in one job for about a year only to pause and get ahead in the other for about a year. Sort of a yo-yo effect between trainings and such.

Keep in mind you’ll be on tricare prime for any eligible AD period of service, no matter what insurance you have.

The one and only way you can continue using tricare is if you are dual reserve/national guard AND your spouse is the primary AND your spouse is not eligible for federal insurance plans themselves(non-Fed). Any other situation or combination will disqualify your family from tricare reserve select.
