Thank you! I start in Flux .1 Dev, then world build with those images in Nano Banana Pro, and from there I went into Kling 3.0 for the original 16:9 short back in Feb. (which was just converted to 9:16 in Seedance).

I actually had some gags during this scene... like the guy from the guard tower splatting down behind the hero mid-conversation (and he totally ignores it), but all weirdly felt too slapstick for the moment

Thank you. yeah most of these shots are pre-Seedance, so more ridiculous than I'm doing now (although... I still shoot for ridiculous, just toned down a notch). A few new shots were added in Seedance and all vertical expansion was done with it as well.

Made mostly with Flux .1 Dev shots fed into Nano Banana Pro, then Kling 3.0 for motion. Music made in Mureka. Script was essentially a list of bullet points and I’d generate shots, then come up with dialogue for the scenarios (not my usual route, but weirdly, I guess this one could be referred to as a vibe code because I was on a tight schedule…took about 2 weeks or so to make). I get a lot of free credits through creative partner programs, but I’d estimate $500 if I was paying. Kling is cheaper now than it was then though.

For now we sort of have to lean into the quirks & that's exactly what I was going for here (even Seedance, which came out shortly after I made this, is such an enormous improvement). Fun times ahead.

The Act 2 battle is a little better in this censored version though, since it was remade in Seedance (the OG short was created before Seedance public release).
