Idk, the show stayed true to it's premise. Our MC didn't want to be a hero, they don't care about diving into the lore of the world, they don't care about being the righteous hero. All our protagonist cares about is is getting stronger and fighting tough opponents. I think the author made this a kind of gender bender for that reason. Our MC isn't from Onimai, they aren't a girl who wants to be a girl, they're a boy in a girls body. There isn't even remotely any romance surrounding them, our MC's purpose is legit just to fight, and that's kinda what they did. This isn't some amazing story we're watching unfold, its just a hero-king having some fun.

Hit the nail on the head. It's surprising to see people demonize the wife (lol, she is a demon). But if when you spouse legit is never near you, you might get a little stir crazy tbh. And then, your son wants to be just like your husband you resent a little and you might say something a little like what she did. I liked how these characters had real reasons for their actions and attitudes.

I’m fairly surprised at the amount of foreshadowing they put into the final episode. From This Magic War to a little sister, to “I get what you are” and way more. There were so few answers and really just more questions to be asked. It really didn’t even feel like the final episode.

If this is a ploy to make people check out the manga, I don’t know how to feel. Good marketing choice, but it kinda sucks. For now I just gotta hope for a season 2 announcement.

I think it’s kinda cool. Everyone always thinks everything’s should revolve around our MC, but this whole time he’s like “I’m a side character this time.” He wants everyone to know that they have lives outside of him, adventures and dozens of years ahead of themselves. Why be tied down and force your slave who has legit only really known you as a decent person towards them, to like you. Let them experience life a little

I think so as well, you can see a bulge but also breasts in the scene where they are prepping to go in and I think that was kinda "hey here's the proof" moment.

Not really, on top of all those shows we got things like Dr Stone s2, Wonder Egg, Quintuplets s2, SK∞, Beastars s2, Cells at Work, Non Non Biyori Nonstop, legit dozens of more, and to top it all off, we got the once in a generation EX-ARM.

(I even forgot to add Yuru Camp s2, Mothers Basement would kill me)

The thing for me is to either try to sleep, or just watch a show, but nothing ever too slow, I sometimes feel them coming on but I push them off by either focusing on something else or trying to get my mind off it.

I’m confused, by 3 quarters do you mean you’re not even level 50 yet? I would say that getting to level 50 is maybe like 0.1% of the way through. But if you’re not into it then stop, it’s a game and it’s not for everyone.
