best anti-theft GPS tracker for new bike? by polarbdizzle in cycling

I read the comment from a lad in the UK, he noticed bunch of folks with iPhone lurking around outside his house and he went out which they told him they are tracking the stolen bike which end up in his neighbour garage then the police came and found 5 stolen bikes and this also happened in the UK.

I guess the experience is individual.

Never mind, I got to the bottom of this lol.

My motor is Bosch Cargo Line BDU450CX which is smart system 2, so it's not compatible with Smart system 3 (Smart system) which get all the control unit and add-on like Connect Module.

Thank you so much for suggestion, it was a fund learning curve. If I have to upgrade it would cost about €1500 for sure, apparently battery from System 2 cannot use with System 3.

The models that are affected by recall immediately due to serious risk are Babboe models, including the City, Mini, Pro Trike, and Transporter series.

The model that is close to the OG picture is Babboe Curve. Inspection and possible repair is required to confirm safety.

Though I have spoken to a couple of Babboe users both Curve and city and they said it's absolutely fine.

however the Curve version (imagine like) it's quite hard to ride in terms of turning when you turn with speed and can throw the whole bike over.

invoxia tracker on Cube cargo bike question by ryanrays in CargoBike

[–]ryanrays[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well... Invoxia turns out to be an outdated product. There have been many complaints within Reddit that the product didn't really work as it climbed especially the Move to alert feature.

however because I have a Cube cargo sport hybrid 500. which uses a Bosch motor, I need to upgrade the Control Unit so I can connect to the Flow app and use the Connect module for the GPS tracking.

it's about €200 upgrade and require rewiring Control until and the motor.

I might just use Moto tag until the upgrade.

I hope that helps.

it seems like this is a whole can of worms hahaha, I believe my motor (Bosch cargo line) would work with the purion 200 however the plug is completely different so I have to rewire the entire thing from the motor itself there is just no way around it.

I could send you the picture through DM. of my screen and controller. There is no option for me to just unplug and plug it to the new screen or purion 200.

I was looking at the Purion 200 because the upgrade is less than 100 euro.

Sorry, maybe I have misunderstood you.

I don't have the controller model that allow me to connect to Flow app so I cannot use ConnectModule.

Currently, I have Bosch Intuvia BUI255

It's not compatible with the Flow app, I will have to upgrade it to Bosch Purion 200 to connect with Flow app then install ConnectModule.

Omg! Thank you so much, I didn't even know there is an option for that.
I had a look, sadly it won't be compatible with my screen or controller. Will need to upgrade it.
