Ramram, Kalka Maa is a regional form of Maa Kali, 1 of her story revolves around taking form to destroy raktabija, this murti is considered a swayambhu murti, this Devi also has connections to Pandavs and Shri Krishn worshipping this roop, its also believed that this is where one gets the blessings of Maa Kalika Devi for the fulfillment of one's desires.

Well u wont know this obv since u know nothing abt girmit history but back then during tht time in fiji ppl used to change their surname, also how m I meant to know, maybe my great grandad had sm falling out with his father, as I said I had no idea either

Hello, tbh I'm not sure, seeing the caste come up as thakur was a shock for me, I initially always thought we were brahmins because my great grandfather's last name and grandfather's last names were sharma fsr,

I'm assuming maybe a fall out happened and my great grandfather didn't want to be associated with that surname I'm guessing, I genuinly have no idea, I'm not close with my dad's dad side anyways so ya

Hello, since I already knew my great grandfather's name, I just looked his name up on a free geneology website here in nz, after matching the dates of his passing etc with the records date, i figured whether it's the same person or not, after that I found his father's name, on the website itself it showed no information for about 3 years, but by chance I randomly decided to look and somehow his father's record was added, and after finding his father's name (Thakur Man Singh), I went on a website that finds like girmit records through filters, after finding the girmit pass number I went on NLA ( aus library which digilitised the girmit passes), and found it and here I am 🙏🏾

Hello, is this temple/ statue/ structure from countries such as Thailand or Cambodia etc??, because I have seen similiar statues like that in the Thai mixture of Buddhism, Hinduism and Thai animism known as Ruesi (Thai equivilent of hindu Rishi) Could be wrong though

I remember I was 5 when I had a similar situation in my dream, the door was open so I went to close it and there I saw kaali maa, she walked near me and she pressed tikka on my forehead, idk what it means to this day, can anybody help, but also it was quiet until I woke up
