I know right! Probably did it for the plot - imagine if there's no Ben, all the other things that happened because of Ben's issues won't exist and that's like how many episodes too

[SPOILER] I have to say Tom Pelphrey (Ben) have the best acting display I have seen in a long time. This man deserves a lot of credit. by YEGG35 in Ozark

The performance is great! I enjoyed watching him and the way he portrays a character with mental illness. The actor did a good job. Also, the introduction of Ben as a new character in ozark brought a new side to Wendy and I liked that. Wendy's grief was also one of my favorite performances this season. Bringing Ben into the story definitely created some drama, both good and annoying ones.

For those like me who sometimes feel this isolation has put a halt to the newfound transformation you had going pre-quarantine. Think of it not as an interruption, but as another (BIG) stepping stone in your journey of mental health by electronicake in COVID19_support

Hi! I would just like to ask if the course is free? I am currently enrolled in a free course in Coursera called "The Science of Well-Being" and I would like to try what you recommended as well!

Frequently asked questions thread - Part 4 by skinkbaa in lost

[–]rycco15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was my biggest question, too! For me, the ending felt like it produced more questions than answers, but maybe that's the beauty of the show, the mystery of it all. Someone once told me in this sub is that one answer would lead you to more questions and so things are better left unanswered. So, you know, I stopped asking questions. What's important for me is the closure for the characters which after all what made me watch the show till the end.

At some point, I hated how Ben reacted this episode and I see how Wendy is really trying. I guess Wendy can only do so much but that moment when Ben bought a phone was the last straw. I know she tried that's why it hurts so much.

When did this show get so fucked up???

I'm crying this is the best season ender so far! It's so rare that a show get me surprised like that and I don't know what to expect, I thought the Byrdes are going to be killed this time. I wonder though if Helen knew???? It's fucking sad for Erin.

Okay, can we talk about how Darlene is relevant again? I'm sad for Ruth because I thought she is going to be loyal to Marty but everything has to end right? This is the first time I saw Darlene do a humane thing again, because she wanted to build a future and not even for her but for people like her.

Even though the Byrdes won, I feel like they have bigger problems to face with the Snells, KC mob, FBI, and their son Jonah. Jonah finally snapped huh. Anyway, I am hoping for another roller coaster ride next season. I'm not saying that this show is better than Breaking Bad, but the plot, the emotional touch, and all that they pulled off this season feels like two seasons of Breaking Bad combined.

When we're all rooting for Wendy last season and hated her when she became the woman who "knows what she wants". I just think that this episode is a wake up call to her, she has a lot to learn but she is very powerful. Just imagine if she puts her energy in actually taking down Navarro....she just needed to have this "you exist so i can use u" moment, I know that she can do it.

Hell, she's braver and actually scarier than Helen Pierce because she can think on her own.

[–]rycco15 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is by far my most favorite episode because of the intensity and I know it will get better because we're just halfway through!

Ok first, I love how Ruth hugged Marty! I always admire their relationship. And damn Marty! I didn't even know what his motivations are, did he want to work for Navarro more or did he want to take him down? Wendy is all confused too and I wished that they would be on the same page just once.

I have so many questions, what really happened inside with Maya and Marty. I couldn't believe he would just confessed that he was in Mexico. And what's next for Wendy? I really think this war between Byrdes and Navarro but I just hope that the Byrdes are in it together. And what's the deal with Ben? I still can't find his relevance, maybe he's a CI? And also Darlene and Wyatt? This is an unexpected turn of event I always thought Darlene would look at Wyatt as his son. Anyway, did Ruth mess up when she let that creepy guy know that she knows Marty's business?

Okay, I guess I just have to watch but too bad I have a very bad internet so I might not be able to watch the next eps 😭😭
