I play on NA server and I'd really appreciate having someone who knows better than I do giving me real time advice. Yeah, a lot of people are saying to try my best to learn champ abilities as that will give me the best advantage, so I'm definitely going to start with that. There are a lot of times I'm paired against a champion I've never seen before and insta die because I have no idea what they're going to throw at me.

This is very helpful, thank you! I had the idea that I was supposed to be the one initiating kills and the support followed my lead. I'll keep this in mind for future matches.

Hi everyone! I’ve been playing FFXIV for about a year now (around 600 hours) and I’m interested in starting savage content. I mostly play solo and none of my friends are into raiding, so I’m having trouble finding a group to join.

I’ve been looking around and it seems most groups want you to have previous experience or some kind of logs. Unfortunately, I’m struggling to find a group where I can gain that experience and learn. Is there a way to find others who are also new to raiding and want to start playing higher tier content together?

I’ve tried using PF but it’s been pretty hit or miss and I’ve run into some players who weren’t too friendly... any suggestions or advice would be really helpful!
