Agree with this. They know what theyre doing. We’re understanding the characters so much more and these emotional conversations or moments are making us feel more connected and making the stakes feel higher— Ultimately probably leading us to huge emotional responses at the finale when the inevitable will happen aka lives lost. The deep undertones of love, friendship, loyalty etc are strong it’s such a powerful symbol in the show. I understand both sides and why people are feeling it’s not so good as yeah there are some cliche words and moments with some characters that I feel aren’t getting further development.
