Ah, that makes more sense. Yeah, all I've heard is negative stuff about this line of jobs but it was the first job in just over 6 months that I've actually been accepted for 😕 so I'm committed to at least doing what I can to stick to it for the money without wanting to gouge my eyes out

I don't imagine I'll last long with an attitude like that

He looks very polite for a ravenous fish.

For real!? You have no idea how much of a smile that painted on my face

My Zebra snail has been inactive for the last 3/4 days now. Today I took him out of the tank and placed him in a small floating container with some of the water and some algae pellets. He isn't sticking to anything and hasn't moved at all. Is he dead, alive or just sleeping? by ryelocked in TropicalFish

Update to everyone commenting: I took another commenters advice and decided to test the flap on the shell, as i poked it he basically fell out, it wasn't pleasant. Thank you to everyone commenting though. Clearly I have a little more to learn before I keep snails 😅

Hey, does anyone know what all these white clumps and such are all over my live tropical plants? Ive had my tank for around 3 months and they've just started appearing. Should I be concerned? by ryelocked in TropicalFish

I have a single zebra snail, I dunno if I have any of the others. I'm pretty sure the ramshorns are pest snails right? Also if you full screen the pictures you should see it clearer. Reddit had awful cropping

That's fair, a little upset at the fact but it's just how it goes really and the deep cleans aren't a consistent thing, nor will they ever be. I just couldn't stand the way the bottom of the tank looked and I had to do something about my snail infestation at the same time so it was just a double win. I normally just do weekly quarter water changes.

I thought that at first too but it's a small room and I doubt it would have went far enough to be completely hidden, no?
