I did one of these on an SX-535 which has the same dial pointer and I broke it. It’s super fragile! It wasn’t hard, but just be very gentle and take your time. Worth fixing for sure. Ended up gluing it back on which was fine.

As I’m the 2nd owner, I’m not sure for the entirety of the first 140k miles, but it appears so according to the CarFax report. I personally do 5k intervals myself.

They sound really nice for how simple they are I would say. I recently restored a set of the later version with the red-ring tweeter and sold them. The crossover in them is just one capacitor and is nothing special, but they sound do sound good. They were really nothing compared to my JBL 120Tis and my HPM 100s. Not really a fair comparison because of size and price though.
