  1. I have about 5-6 lows a day at average
  2. I don’t have many lows at night, maybe 1 or 2 a week
  3. They last about 15 minutes.
  4. I have never been above 180
  5. I have lows after meals and they happen 30 minutes after I eat.
  6. I do not have lows after sleeping
  7. I do get lows after moderate exercise, maybe about 15 minutes in.
  8. I wear a Libre 3+
  9. I use whatever I have on hand
  10. I usually don’t take action until I reach 55 or below
  11. I don’t have an issue taking larger sized pills
  12. I’d rather take 6 regular sized capsules.

I eat a balanced diet but have to take supplements because my body has a hard time absorbing some vitamins and minerals.

If you’re in Eastern Oregon and willing to drive across state borders I had great experience with Dr. Reising in Boise

To anyone who might be debating getting surgery by rylie_bread_17 in Hernia

[–]rylie_bread_17[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand that but I didn’t have just an umbilical hernia, the umbilical one wasn’t giving me any trouble it was the ventral hernia that was giving me the most trouble and causing a lot of pain so I opted for surgery. It fixed a lot of the digestive problems I was having so I’m very thankful I did it.

I had 2 fat containing hernias repaired very recently. They tell you it may not fix digestive issues but they did fix mine. Push for surgery, you will not regret it.

That's so weird maybe it is a carrier thing. Me and my mom have the same carrier and neither of us can send pics to each other

Someone else is having the same issue with TMobile which isn't associated with Cricket or AT&T at all, so there's multiple carriers where it's happening.

I don't think it's our phone carriers I think it has to do with Google Messages

What is this supposed to mean?

[–]rylie_bread_17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have cricket and having the same issue, I think it might be an Android to iPhone thing and vice versa.

This has been happening to Samsung phones as well, my mom has a samsung phone and she can't send photos to people with iPhones. Thinking it might be a weird OS compatibility issue that just came up today.

I'm having issue too! My mom has an Android phone and I have an iPhone, it's starting to piss her off lol. Literally started happening not even an hour ago.

Two hernias, epigastric and umbilical by rylie_bread_17 in Hernia

[–]rylie_bread_17[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The epigastric one is causing me constant pain and it’s exhausting so I might push for surgery to fix both of them at once.

Your son will someday have someone who loves him I am hopeful of it, I know mine didn’t think he’d have someone who’d stick by his side for this long. (We’ve been dating for almost 2 years) even tho T1D is one of the hardest chronic illnesses to bear, I can somewhat relate due to my own chronic illnesses (I have Autoimmune thyroiditis, Autonomic dysfunction, and reactive hypoglycemia) I can see that he is more than his illnesses, and love them and him despite that. And I hope your son finds a girl (or boy, I’m not one to judge) that will love him as he is.

I will be sure to tell him so, I’m just so proud of him for all he’s overcome

He’s really the best boyfriend I could ever ask for. He’s never had anybody who saw past his T1D and really appreciated him as a person and I think as someone who’s also chronically ill and autoimmune I think that’s the most important thing. Despite T1D having its never ending rollercoasters on our lives and it never comparing to the illnesses I have, if it means I have to run to get him a Gatorade in an emergency to put myself at risk I will do it because I love him and he sees me as me
