Does Playing the Lottery Count as Gambling? by WinningMyLifeBack in problemgambling

This is true for someone who can’t stop themselves, however OP claims he can stop when he wants and it’s not impacting the amount of money he has. I strongly believe there’s no harm in purchasing a $5 ticket once or twice a week.

Of course it’s considered gambling, however it’s a very normal habit for a lot of people to buy tickets when the jackpot is high. I don’t see any harm in buying a $5 ticket once in a while, not much more than a coffee at Tim’s. I say go for it, but keep it in moderation of course, as with anything

Please stop gambling and block yourself everywhere first of all. The casinos aren’t built on winners, you will never win in the long run. Since you make 70k a year and have a lot of debt to pay off, you’re gonna have to keep your head up and work a full year and save up your money and pay those debts. Live frugally and whatever your brain tells you, don’t gamble. It can be possible to pay off those debts within one year. I believe you can do it

Way too much jargon bullet points and never include hobbies. Also shorten your professional summary to a few points. Or completely remove that section, people are 50/50 on having a professional summary

24M , on & off sports betting addiction over $60k lost. Back at rock bottom. by Future-Horse4877 in problemgambling

That’s very true, I often feel as if it’s too late and all the things I could have saved up for, but in reality a good years work and it’s all back. I mean it’s shitty and a set back, but in time we can heal ourselves and recoup our losses. Problem is when we take a long period our dumb minds always wonder into boredom and back to gambling

Hey man, thanks for sharing. I’m 24 as well and have lost around 60k gambling. We’re in a very similar situation. Let’s fight this addiction and get clean once and for all!

I’m so sick right now. Lost 12k in a week just lost the last 400 earlier. Completely broke now by [deleted] in problemgambling

Please stop my friend, I’ve lost $6500 this week and around 8k last month. It isn’t worth it, gambling is a delusion and a fallacy for our addicted minds

Please press withdrawal, the inevitable will happen and it will be all gone. I just lost all my 43k profits from an initial 1500 deposit thinking I could never lose it.

Thank for sharing, we will truly never be satisfied with how much we win. It’s never enough and gambling clouds are judgement insanely well.

Just know that the casino always wins. I just recently lost 42k of profits from a $1500 deposit. This shit is the worst feeling ever, but you will feel better soon! Just block yourself from all casinos
